Description THE POSITION This recruitment is being conducted to fill one full-time vacancy. The list established by this recruitment may be used to fill future full-time, part-time, limited term, and temporary vacancies for up to one year. This is an advanced level engineering classification. Work in this class is distinguished from that of lower classes by the administrative responsibilities performed in overseeing additional engineering personnel and/or for assigning and reviewing work on major projects. The Traffic Engineer works as a project leader on major projects or programs and provides support to other Public Works Sections and City Departments.
