Description   DEFINITION Under general direction, performs community risk reduction throughout the community and public education. Participates in a variety of fire prevention, inspection and code enforcement duties for residential, commercial and industrial occupancies including plan checking and testing of hazardous processes and fire protection and extinguishing systems.  Performs related duties as required.   CLASS CHARACTERISTICS This is the full journey level class within the Fire Inspector Series.
