Reporting to the Landscape Grounds Supervisor in the Facilities Services Environmental Resource Services Department, the Groundskeeper performs a variety of landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks throughout the University of California, Riverside campus. The Groundskeeper supports various campus customers and is responsible for caring for, maintaining, and preserving the plants, shrubs, trees, hedges, flowers, lawns, and fields on the hard and soft landscape of the campus grounds. The Groundskeeper waters various areas by hand or manual operation of the irrigation systems and performs minor repairs of systems. Additionally, the Groundskeeper will vacuum, pressure wash, sweep or blow down hard surfaces, and install, repair, and maintain the hard surface areas such as walkways, roadways, pavers, and stepping stones.
