Title Maintenance Worker  Description Hourly Pay: $35.12 - $42.69 Overview of Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Facilities Supervisor, performs hard physical labor in a variety of construction trades and provides maintenance on District structures, mains, and appurtenances. As a condition of employment, this position is required to standby and work as an emergency crew (duty) person on a rotating basis covering nights, holidays and weekends. Applies all standard safety practices. Essential Functions: Performs a variety of maintenance activities, such as repairing water services; replacing and installing meters (including digital or electronic meter reading devices), meter boxes and valves; and digging ditches, culverts, and cleaning drains and gutters with power or hand tools.
