The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care and acting as a patient liaison in support of Medical Oncology Department.  Duties include: Provides direct patient care according per organizational policies and procedures. Prepares patient for provider including vital signs and collection of clinical data. Administers medications to patients, including, oral, injections, IV’s and nebulizer treatments as ordered by provider. Assists provider and/or performs procedures in assigned area within scope of practice. Assists in the patient navigation for both inpatient/outpatient services and works closely with members of the clinic to ensure that patient is receiving appropriate services.
