The Sheriff's 911 Communications Officer II is the full journey level class in the Sheriff's 911 Communications Officer series. Incumbents in this class provide emergency and routine services Countywide from one of the Sheriff's Communications Centers. Incumbents in this class are characterized by responsibilities, which require the execution of a high degree of discretion, initiative, and independent judgment as to a course of action where unprecedented situations routinely arise.
