Summary The Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Yellow Iron) reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is personally responsible for performing complex preventative maintenance tasks, and troubleshoots and repairs a wide variety of operational equipment (Trucks and Yellow Iron). Summary The Heavy Equipment Operator Lead reports directly to the Operation Supervisor and is responsible for the management and leadership of the heavy equipment operations in the Landfill. In addition, the Heavy Equipment Operator Lead will processes trash by compacting and pushing the waste with a dozer, at the landfills.
