Under direction and supervision of the Police Sergeant, Senior Police Officers, or Police Officer, this position patrols assigned area in the maintenance of order, enforcement of laws and ordinance, prevention of crime, and the protection of life and property; does investigation work in the detection of crime and vice; and does relate work as required. The Position Under direction of the Chief of Police, manages, plans, directs, and coordinates the Police Department’s Administration Division which includes Communications, Records, Youth Services, Crime Analysis and Information Systems; prepares and administers the Department’s budget and grant acquisition; serves as a member of the Police Department Management Team; researches and prepares staff reports; develop, implements, and evaluates the Administrations systems and procedures; performs other related duties as required.
