Description PLEASE READ THIS BULLETIN IN ITS ENTIRETY This recruitment is being conducted to fill full-time vacancies for Firefighter/Paramedic. The list established by this recruitment may be used to fill future full-time, part-time, limited term, and temporary vacancies for up to one year. THE DEPARTMENT The Vallejo Fire Department consists of 90 employees, who are staffed between Administration, Suppression, Training, and Fire Prevention divisions. The Department averages over 18,500 calls per year and boasts two of the more active engine companies in the state. Fire Suppression Division Fire Suppression consists of 78 Firefighter-Paramedics, Engineers, Captains, and Battalion Chiefs.
