The Department of State Hospitals- Napa, Registry Department is currently accepting applications for Permanent, Intermittent Psychiatric Technician Assistants(S) (PTA) vacancies. We are seeking PTA(S) who are committed to supporting DSH-Napa Registry Pool with duties related to escorting patients to and from on grounds clinics, Family Visitors Center, Community hospital, Program/Unit and Central Staffing Office coverage.  Permanent, Intermittent employees work up to 1500 hours per fiscal year.   In order to maintain a position in the Registry all permanent, intermittent employees are required to work a minimum of: Twelve (12) 8-hour shifts per calendar month at least six (6) of which must be weekend shifts; Three (3) major holidays and three (3) high need days per calendar year must be worked (requirements are defined in registry guidelines).
