Patton State Hospital Human Resources Department is accepting applications for at least one (1) Permanent, Full-time appointment to the Plumber I position in the Facility Operations Department. The position is under the direction of the Plumbing Supervisor. Applicants must possess the following requirements and knowledge:
Plumber I responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
Inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing equipment relating to water, gas, oil, sewer, and fire control.
Knowledgeable in Construction and General Safety Orders of the Division of Industrial Safety applicable to plumbing and relevant building codes.
Troubleshoot plumbing systems.
Knowledgeable of principles, methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the plumbing industry.
Maintain and adhere to tool control policy and procedures.
Maintain accurate record keeping.
