The Senior Associate, Operations Financial Planning and Analysis will support the Property Operations and Finance teams. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role is responsible for budgeting and reforecasting key financial metrics for Property Operations, supporting management ahead of quarterly earnings calls, and assisting with underwriting prospective acquisitions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Assist with the annual budget and quarterly reforecast for Property Operations, which includes reviewing revenues, expenses, and capital expenditures for the entire Essex portfolio.
Create and support analytical reports to help management ahead of quarterly earnings calls.
Participate in quarterly budget reviews with VP and other operations leadership and produce reports to present budget variances and other information.
Compare operating and finance budgets to actual performance on a monthly and quarterly basis.
