A Lead Medical Assistant is needed full time for the expansion of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and to guide the work assignments for all Medical Assistants within BH, coordinate with family health clinics and other FQHCs and primary care for integration of all related BH services.   MA Lead provides support and training to MA’s on clinical tasks including: vital, ANC testing, coordinating lab services, EKGs etc. MA lead supports MA’s work with other agencies to obtain information, coordinate services, determine appropriate venue for service, provide cross-training about the needs of clients served. Coordinate with physicians, caseworkers, community and support services, and appropriate primary care referral needs for clients upon transitions from services, jails, or hospitals.
