Outside Operations Team Member

Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, California is seeking a dependable, service-oriented individual to join our Golf Operations team as an Outside Services Attendant.

Since 1922, Oakmont Country Club has provided its members and guests with a premier private-club experience featuring an 18-hole championship golf course, driving range and practice facilities, clubhouse, fitness center, swimming pool, dining, and family amenities.

The Outside Services team plays an important role in the daily member experience and is responsible for providing attentive, professional service while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient operation throughout the Bag Room, Practice Facilities, and Cart Barn.

• Greet members and guests promptly and professionally.
• Assist members and guests with golf bags and equipment upon arrival and departure.
• Prepare, clean, stock, stage, and store golf carts for daily play.
• Maintain the Bag Room, Cart Barn, staging areas, and surrounding work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Set up, maintain, pick, and clean the driving range and practice facilities.
• Monitor range-ball inventory and replenish practice areas throughout the day.
• Clean member and guest golf clubs following play and properly return equipment to storage, bag drop, or vehicles.
• Place golf carts on chargers and ensure the fleet is prepared for the following day's play.
• Monitor golf-cart condition and immediately communicate maintenance or repair needs.
• Assist with routine golf-cart fleet maintenance as assigned.
• Assist with tournament preparation, golf events, clinics, and daily Golf Operations activities.
• Communicate effectively with the Golf Shop and other Golf Operations team members.
• Anticipate member needs, demonstrate initiative, and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Golf Operations management.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience preferred
• Previous golf course, country club, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required
• The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a team
• Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, initiative, and a willingness to provide a high level of service to members and guests
• Knowledge of golf is helpful, but Oakmont is willing to train the right individual
