Job Description
Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point, CA is seeking a Player Assistant to support a fast-paced, hospitality-focused golf operation. This role assists with on-course guest service, pace of play management, communication with golf operations staff, and maintaining course standards.
- Maintain professional appearance.
- Responsible for maintaining a reasonable pace of play on the golf courses.
- Communicate and assist the Pro Shop in keeping an accurate pace of play.
- Communicate with Starter and Pro Shop about any pace of play concerns.
- Monitor course cleanliness.
- Assist Outside Staff Attendants as needed.
- Advise guests of course conditions, expected pace of play, local rules and other golf-related issues.
- Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
- Must have strong customer/guest orientation.
- Must be dependable.
- Knowledge about the game of golf is highly preferred.
