Job Description

The Outside Services Attendant is responsible for providing an exceptional level of service to members and guests while supporting the daily operations of the Golf Department. This position serves as one of the first and last points of contact for golfers and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, professional, and organized country club experience.

The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, service-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Assist members and guests with loading, unloading, and handling golf bags.
  • Stage, clean, organize, and maintain the golf cart fleet.
  • Ensure golf carts are properly stocked and prepared for daily play.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart staging area, bag drop, practice facilities, and other assigned golf areas.
  • Retrieve, clean, store, and properly care for members' golf clubs and bags.
  • Assist with the operation and organization of the driving range and practice facilities.
  • Pick the driving range and maintain an adequate supply of clean range balls.
  • Set up and break down the driving range as required.
  • Assist with tournament and special-event setup, including carts, bag staging, signage, and practice facilities.
  • Communicate effectively with the Golf Shop regarding tee times, cart availability, member requests, and daily operations.
  • Monitor golf cart condition and immediately report maintenance or safety concerns to Golf Professional Staff.
  • Follow all club policies, procedures, safety standards, and golf cart operating guidelines.
  • Anticipate member and guest needs and provide assistance whenever possible.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional or Golf Professional Staff.

Qualifications

  • Previous golf course, country club, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of golf and golf etiquette preferred.
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills.
  • Professional and positive attitude.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to take direction and complete assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license preferred/required for operation of club vehicles.
