Security Clearance: Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance. Responsibilities: Provides travel related support services for Department of the Navy Military personnel and civilians Receives and processes Passenger Reservation Requests (PRR), Transaction Online Processing System (TOPS) to generate travel authorization and settlements using Defense Travel System (DTS) Monitors and tracks all authorization and settlements to ensure seamless processing and prevent potential interruptions to the travels Reviews and processes travel vouchers for accuracy Resolves issues or discrepancies with customers Monitors, tracks and corrects rejected vouchers Experience Requirements: Minimum of two (2) years of Defense Travel System administrator experience and advanced working knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS). Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Joint Force Travel Regulations (JFTR). Security Clearance: Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance. Responsibilities: Provide financial analysis support to the Commander, Naval Surface Forces Pacific (CNSP) Comptroller, with an emphasis on Incoming Reimbursable Management. Duties are diverse and complex, and may consist of any or all of the following: Review and examine all incoming reimbursable funding documents, ensuring they comport with the DOD Financial Management Regulations (FMR) Prepare incoming reimbursable funding documents for review and acceptance by the CNSP Accounting Officer Establish corresponding reimbursable job order numbers, and post to the Command Financial Management System (CFMS). Verify posting in STARS-FL. Issue reimbursable funds to the applicable command/unit Review and analyze Reimbursable Fund Status Report in STARS-FL to determine if all accounts receivable have cleared. Research any accounts greater than 30 days old and coordinate resolution with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS). Notify customer of any reimbursable that are over-obligated and provide action to be taken to correct the over-obligation. Review remaining balances of each reimbursable at the end of each month and validate with the units if there are excess funds that can be returned Maintain a Reimbursable Fund Status Report in an Excel worksheet that includes authorization, obligation, expenditures, UOL and available balance figures Experience Requirements: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience, preferably in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization such as Commander Naval Surface Forces Pacific (CNSP). Ideal experience would be gained from performing similar Incoming Reimbursable Management within a DoD Comptroller environment. Experience with CFMS and STARS-FL is highly desired. Proficient in the use of Windows PC and Microsoft Office software which includes Word, Excel, and Outlook. Educational Requirements: Minimum requirements are a High School diploma or GED.
