Job Description The Sustainment Division / Logistics Branch Manager supervises the day-to-day operations of all sustainment and maintenance operations at the RTS-MED site; responsible for the successful execution of the PWS requirements for the Site, in the sustainment functional area. Responsibilities include all aspects of the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) and Command Maintenance Discipline Program (CMDP) per the PWS and applicable regulations. Ensures GCSS-Army and IFS documentation is complete and accurate. Responsible for the coordination of supply and maintenance activities and equipment readiness. Maintains hand receipts for all assigned property while overseeing the maintenance of automated systems for accounting of organizational and installation supplies and equipment. Responsible for timeliness of all supply automated reports. Supervises inventories and security of storage facilities and equipment. This position will coordinate with the Training Division Manager and SM in scheduling training requirements for instructors from the Equipment Management Branch, and in ensuring that scheduled maintenance of equipment does not interfere with training requirements. Continually communicates with the PMO Sustainment Manager, the Site Manager and the Government SD on the status of the sustainment functional area, ensuring that any potential issues are identified in advance and risk mitigation principles are instituted.     Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned task(s), including contract and subcontractor management. Supervises assigned staff. Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting. May also perform high level technical services on assigned task(s). Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload. Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison. Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client. Coordinates development of deliverables and products. Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Participates in special projects as required. Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, individual and collective training, maintenance, and budget act ivities. Directs sustainment activities to meet customer and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems. Interfaces with the Site Director and staff on a regular basis. Ensures property accountability at all times, conducts inventories as required by the PBO IAW Army regulations and SOPs. Ensures timely and proper reconciliation of discrepancies found during inventories between the PBO and sub-hand receipt holders. Maintains consolidated records of maintenance and training. Provides required program reports, CDRLs, and other deliverables as specified in the PWS. Uses project management tools to produce schedules, monitor workloads and resources. One-year supervisory experience in property management.
