We’re working to secure sustainable income for individuals transitioning from homelessness. Steady and sustainable income is the only permanent, reliable path out of homelessness.
And we help provide that sustainable income by helping local businesses succeed.
As a non-profit Frist Step is driven by it’s mission to help employ those with barriers to work force re-entry.
All profits are re-invested in programs to support our employees and insure their success at your work site.
Our goal is to help individuals get their benefits as soon as possible. We will not drag our feet to prolong the process for a higher fee. Money for us is not a determining factor on whether we help an individual. In most cases, we are able to get the Social Security Administration or its subparts to expedite cases for those that are chronically homeless or at risk of losing their housing. We take this very seriously and will do all we can to get our clients decisions as soon as possible.
