GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The FSQA Non-Vegetable Supplier Program Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and auditing all programmatic elements of the non-vegetable supply chain within Dole Fresh Vegetables division to drive continuous improvement in the program. This includes but is not limited to the following areas: managing the initial approval and annual renewal process for all non-veg suppliers, co-packers approvals, assessing all non-veg suppliers using a risk based approach, conducting on-site audits as needed to ensure suppliers meet all Dole FSQA expectations, providing insight to innovation and procurement teams on supplier selection, and maintaining all updates to applicable programs. This position will create and implement internal food safety programs for non-veg items, manage and maintain the procedures, leverage data to drive continuous improvement, and manage third party suppliers.
