THE POSITION The Military and Veterans Affairs Officer plans, directs, and organizes the activities of the County's Military and Veterans Affairs Office providing advocacy and assistance to veterans and their dependents; and to perform related work as required. This is a one-position, unclassified management class allocated only to the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA). The incumbent has significant responsibility for formulating policy and managing the activities of the Military and Veterans Affairs Office providing advocacy, assistance, and representation to the County's Veteran population and their dependents.
