The Sheriff's Records Clerk I perform a wide variety of specialized clerical support services to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, which may include: interacting with incarcerated persons, criminal database verification, providing assistance to the public and other branches of law enforcement; performing other related duties as required. Incumbents will be required to develop an understanding of technical subject matter unique to the work and gather and inspect local, state, and federal criminal history; apply penal codes, rules, and regulations accordingly.
The Sheriff's Records Clerk II is the journey-level classification. The Sheriff’s Records Clerk II will be responsible for performing the most complex specialized clerical duties in support of Sheriff’s station records processing.
