The CMM Programmer assists the Director of Quality, Quality Engineers and other functional departments in completing analyses, assembling information and conducting basic test to achieve improvement in the product quality.
Program metrology equipment such as CMM, KEYENCE machine, and vision systems. Perform inspection per drawing requirements. Work with various departments to solve problems and advance the continuous process improvement effort through effective corrective action implementation, and associated quality tools (e.g., Pareto analysis and root cause analysis).
This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR (which generally means (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, as specified under applicable law.
3-5 years CMM programming experience
Thorough understanding of GD&T and blue print reading
Knowledge in calibration
Experience in aerospace, medical or automotive industry
High School Diploma, Associate Degree or Quality Assurance inspection and programming on the job experience
3 years minimum in a quality/inspection related field
Analyzing Data and Reports
Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.
