The Detention Officer is responsible to ensure the safety and security of detainees in custody, acting in accordance with the highest ethical standards at all times, and ensuring a spirit of fairness and integrity in the on-going execution of their duties. Detention Officers for the Florence Service Processing Center are assigned to unarmed posts inside the detention facility and are directly responsible for the supervision and movement of detainees within the facility secure perimeter. Hourly Rate: $28.52 plus H&W Rate SIGN ON BONUS of $1,000 for standard Detention Officer hires $2,500 SIGN ON Bonus for Active DHS/ICE Clearance with Detention Officer Experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This position requires the candidate to maintain physical fitness standards and must be able to pass and maintain required physical testing requirements and standards which includes:
Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, twisting, reaching overhead and climb stairs, ladders and slopes periodically Strictly maintain physical fitness standards for law enforcement related position throughout your employment under this contract You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.
