JOB DESCRIPTION: The Protective Security Specialist - Emergency Response Team Member (PSS-ERT) provides internal emergency response / quick reaction team services. Must possess the highest quality of professionalism, attention to detail, and leadership skills which require minimum to no supervision. Must be highly motivated and be able to work extremely well under stress and be able to react effectively and efficiently to emergency situations. Perform routine guard services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Valid US Tourist Passport/ability to obtain one
-Valid US Driver’s License/ability to obtain one
-U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DOS Secret Clearance
-Possess at least 3 years of active duty U.S. Military experience (within a combat arms MOS) or, Military Police field with at least one (1) full year of *high threat deployment or certified SRT *Deployments to Iraq/Afghanistan/Kuwait/Saudi Arabia etc.

The position is located at the US embassy and its surrounding compounds in Kabul, Afghanistan
