Position Summary: This role will be leading the team responsible for Supply Chain Network Costing Analysis. This team’s core responsibilities include providing Supply Chain network costing analysis for existing products as well as new products and new markets cost estimates. This role needs to train and guide Supply Chain Network Specialists to effectively and accurately perform their jobs while keeping senior leadership informed.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Lead and develop the team of Supply Chain Network Specialists in Supply Chain Advanced Analytics
  • Review and approve Supply Chain Network Costing analysis developed by Supply Chain Network Specialists
  • Recommend feasible best cost options based on suppliers, plants, and distributions capabilities
  • Work cross functionally to build costing scenarios for new products and new markets
  • Based on customer destinations, recommend optimal distribution sites based on production costs, ideal transportation lanes and applicable duties
  • Collaborate with NPD, logistics, procurement and other relevant functions to work closely with finance and commercial in developing transaction model decisions across countries
  • Work closely with NPD and logistics/freight Forwarders to understand HTS codes, tax/duty rates, trade agreements and trading constrains for new markets based on product formulation and regulatory compliance to model lowest landed costs appropriately
  • Work closely with Procurement to help drive cost savings
  • Work closely with Quality, Technical Formulation and Procurement to drive appropriate production batch sizing and validate commodity pricing, pack fees, and CapEx payback
  • Work closely with NPD to ensure R&D formula is within budget
  • Understand ingredients’ Brix level to reduce cost impact
  • Monitor and analyze currency exchange fluctuations and its impact on costs
  • Analyze how tier pricing impacts the cost and recommend best EOQ/MOQ
  • Assist senior leadership in any special projects
  • Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or modified either formally or informally, either in writing or verbally at the discretion of Management.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors of Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Related Field
  • 5-7 years’ experience in Supply Chain costing and/or analytics
  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical and detailed-oriented
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to lead and develop a team
  • Strong follow up skills
  • Advanced skill with MS Office suite, especially Excel and ideally Access and MS PowerPoint
  • SAP Experience Preferred
