Requires: • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field • 6-8 Years’ relevant work experience • AN/USG-2, AN/USG- 2A, AN/USG-2B, AN/USG-3, AN/USG-3B, AN/USG-4A, AN/USG-4B, AN/USG-5A, AN/USG-5B, AN/USG-7Bknowledge • Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) experience • Military/DoD experience (preferred) • Microsoft Office Suite • Must be able to sit at a desk for long hours. • Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 30 lbs. • Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and lift. • 50% Travel • Secret Clearance
Functional Responsibilities: Provide support in installation, check out, follow-on, weekly reports and final completion reports for variants of CEC equipment and Engineering Changes (ECs) on ships and mobile vehicles, aircraft, and at LBTS. Provide fleet support for all current and future system implementations regarding USG-3/3B systems. Coordinate test events for airborne and surface units during the operational testing and evaluation of the new CEC system. Provide fleet technical assistance on-site support at Naval Shipyards, Naval/USMC/Army bases in the Continental United States (CONUS). Occasionally foreign (OCONUS) travel as required. Review and provided input to the task descriptions involved in installing and integrating the Cooperative Engagement Transmission Processing Sets (CETPS) systems. Provide feedback and recommendations based on the items addressed in Engineering Change Status and Installation Planning.
