In this position as Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for receiving, storing and distributing material and products. Additional responsibilities may include replenishing stock, handling will-calls and preparing and loading products for intercompany transfers of products. Essential Job Duties: Pull and stage orders to be delivered. Off-load bulk lubricants into tanks or totes. Off-load pre-packaged loads from truck & trailers. Maintain good records of product movement and repackaging. Repackage products into totes, drums, and pails. Rotate inventory to ensure the oldest product goes out first. Ensure warehouse is clean, organized and safe. Loads, secures and unloads cargo. Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service. a Maintains telephone contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up. Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. May be responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Must be licensed to operate a truck. Licensing requirements depend on the state. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in drums according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code. Mark materials with required identifying information. Move stock, and other materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers by hand or using hand trucks, drum dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts. Connect hoses and operate equipment to move liquid materials into and out of storage tanks and into totes, drums or other containers. Pack and unpack products to be stocked on shelves in warehouse. Store items in warehouse in an orderly and accessible manner   Education/Experience Required: Class B drivers license. High school diploma or GED. Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; able to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees. Able to add, subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Able to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.. Certification and ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, drum dollies, and pumps.     Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, balance, climb, and reach overhead.
