Range Generation Next LLC (RGNext) operates the United States Air Force space launch ranges headquartered at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida and Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. Jointly owned by Raytheon and General Dynamics IT, RGNext is responsible for operations, as well as organizational and depot-level maintenance and sustainment of mission-critical systems to provide safe and effective launch, testing, and tracking of Department of Defense, civil, commercial and international spacelift vehicles. Job Description Essential Functions also include: Analyze and perform planning functions utilizing official UDS documentation. Assist Controllers/Sr. Controllers with the coordination of personnel actions and managing mission systems during operations in the Range Control Center (RCC). Manage critical, real-time Range Safety data required for the fulfillment of launch vehicle tracking requirements on the Western Range. Perform operational duties as a trainee/qualified Controller. Coordinate and provide direction to range systems in managing system data performance and integrating operations support. Assist Controllers/Sr. Controllers in managing daily operations of the appropriate system during tests and non-test periods. Conduct pre-test briefings and post-test critiques. Evaluate system conditions during pre-launch activities and provide recommendations to Controllers/Sr. Controllers. Evaluate recommended changes to operating procedures or methods to improve data quality and performance for future tests Assist with the preparation of reports, procedures and operational documents Communicate with the mission team and federal government entities to obtain background information to meet operational requirements, and ensure the maximum probability of meeting requirements.
