Range Maintenance reporting chain of command is as follows: Range Maintenance Supervisor, Range Control NCOIC, and Range Management Authority. Range Maintenance personnel will receive tasks and guidance from the Range Maintenance Supervisor. The Range Maintenance Supervisor will assign tasks based on the guidance and intent of the Range Control NCOIC and Range Management Authority.
• Operate, control, and maintain a variety of automated and non-automated ranges, including static and pop-up ranges (current or under construction).
• Conduct range inspections to ensure transient units are training IAW DA PAM 385-63 and CR 350-1.
• Develop training scenarios for down-range target systems, using the computer-controlled integration systems control panel. Monitor the control panel for correct operation, reports, and correct malfunctions.
• Conduct quarterly inventories of all Range Operations Property book items.
