EXEMPLARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Sweeps, mops, scrubs, shampoos, and waxes floors, including surfaces of many types; vacuums and cleans rugs and carpets; dusts, waxes, washes and polishes furniture and woodwork, fixtures, shelves, cupboards and counters; cleans walls and blackboards; cleans and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms and showers; fills soap and paper dispenser; washes windows; empties trash and waste cans; and restocks supplies. Moves furniture and equipment and sets up rooms and auditoriums for special meetings and activities. May set up and open areas for special events. Insures all doors and windows in assigned area are locked, alarms set, and necessary security lights are on. Performs minor maintenance such as replacing lights, painting small rooms or trim, removing and/or tagging broken furniture; reports vandalism and items needing repair. May perform outside maintenance, such as snow removal, mowing, weeding, irrigating, picking up litter, etc. Participates in intensive cleaning and restoration of District buildings during summer vacations and other periods; washes, removes and stacks furniture; washes walls and woodwork; paints interior and exterior walls; strips floors using power equipment; and seals and waxes floors. May be called upon on off-hours for school emergencies, such as burglaries, vandalism, snow removal, equipment failures, fires, flooding, etc. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS Education/Experience: Any combination equivalent to education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and skills would be: Six (6) months of experience demonstrating reliability, responsibility and good work habits. Knowledge of: Reading, writing and basic arithmetic sufficient to perform job duties successfully; and cleaning materials, methods and equipment. Follows assigned schedules and routes; picks up students/special needs students and passengers at designated stops; directs the loading and unloading of vehicle; transports students/special needs students and passengers to and from school; supervises the behavior of all passengers aboard vehicle to maintain safety and discipline; drives defensively, following safe driving practices, state and local laws. Drive in adverse weather conditions; administers first aid as needed; keeps passenger rosters, trip and mileage records and logs.  May transport students/special needs students and passengers to and from special activities such as field trips and athletic events.  Remains current on disciplinary and safety practices and procedures by attending driver meetings, training, and safety programs. SUMMARY DESCRIPTION   Under general supervision of the School Nurse, administers first aid to injured and ill students; with training by the Nurse, performs delegable nursing services for students according to the Nevada School Nurse Regulation and Advisory Opinion, Nevada Revised Statutes, Chapter 632; notifies School Nurse, appropriate school authorities, parents/guardian or parent/guardian’s designee in the event of changes in student health status, maintains student health and immunization records. Other duties may be assigned. • A basic understanding of the RF and DC testing that is completed in support of production hardware. • A basic understanding of proper tuning techniques; including tuning with tabs and lumped elements in high power RF amplifiers with supervision. • A basic understanding of troubleshooting techniques and the common problems seen in the production hardware. • A basic understanding of the use and proper calibration of the test equipment that is used in support of testing high power RF amplifiers, including but not limited to: Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters and Signal Generators, with supervision • Be able to clearly communicate and interact with the Responsible Engineers and the necessary production and manufacturing personnel to resolve production-related issues within the program. • Understand the program hardware flow (Steps) and role within that flow to better coordinate overall program test effort with the scheduled time allotment. • Ensure all program documentation and test data records are complete and accurate and provided on a timely basis for review. • Ensure the test tasks assigned are done in the most efficient and effective manner. • Maintain close security and protect the company’s assets from damage, including test equipment and tools. • Ensure that the Quality Control functions are properly performed such as ESD precautions, Used-On Log and Equipment Calibration. • Ensure personnel safety procedures are followed at all times and/or highlight and raise concern to the appropriate personnel if safety hazards are found. • Ensure that the policies and practices of the Aethercomm Employee Handbook are followed within the department. • Ensure company compliance in accordance with AS9100. • Check email regularly and respond appropriately. Experience using CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) in the creation of complex electromechanical models, fabrication drawings and assembly drawings. Work with electrical engineers and designers to define the mechanical attributes of electronic modules and systems. Other duties may be assigned. • Able to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics. • Create detailed electrical/mechanical layouts with the use of schematics and guidance from engineers. • Work directly with designers and engineers to prepare drawings from conceptual design to final product documentations. • Maintain engineering documentation files and incorporate engineering change notices. • Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. • Assist Drafters, Designers, and Engineers with questions and concerns about their designs and layouts. • Develop and research better ways to design Printed Circuit Boards. • Generate detail Fabrication drawings and Assembly drawings, Bill of Material and Gerber files of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). • Knowledgeable with the standard geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in accordance with ANSI Y14.5M-1995. Preferably familiar with military drawing standards, IEEE standards, and IPC standards. • Interpret drawings in accordance with MIL-STD-100. • Analyze various design requirements and recommend possible solutions or alternate constructions. Also prepare and evaluate tolerance stack-ups of the PCB. • Assist in the follow-up of prototype construction with outside vendors. Education/Experience: Requires a minimum of ten years of experience in the field of PCB Design preferably with an (A.A.) Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in a related field of study. Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Math Ability: Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Pads Layout and Logic is a requirement. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, ORCAD and Cam 350 is a plus. Able to use online calculators.
