Job Description

The Resource Specialist, Special Education, under direction and supervision of a Supervisor of
Correctional Education Programs, provides instructional services to youthful offenders identified
as needing special education services and placed into the Resource Specialist Program as
recommended in the written individualized educational plan; maintains order and supervises
the conduct of youthful offenders; protects and maintains the safety of persons and property;
performs other related duties.
