Job Description Video Conferencing Specialist: $20/hr

We are seeking to hire a Video Conferencing Specialist to join our team! You will work off-hours during the equipment installations, alongside the Vendor, who installs the equipment, thereafter; the day shift. After installation, you may be required to train users, create user check sheets for each conference room and test and trouble shoot the system in person or remotely.  W2 hire (W2 comes with benefits) or Contract hire.

The job locations are located in Glassell Park, Los Angeles and/or Playa Del Rey. 

 

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, AA Degree or Higher preferred 
  • Reliable means of transportation for travel to user locations in Greater Los Angeles Area
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Perform quality work with a minimal amount of supervision in a fast paced environment
  • Valid California License
  • Good DMV record (polite, driving etiquette and attitude is a must!)

 

Minimum Technical Skills:

  • Strong Windows 7-10 support and troubleshooting skills - MAC too
  • Strong desktop hardware, peripheral and printer support knowledge
  • Strong Anti-Virus/Malware/Spyware assessment and removal
  • Good understanding of network switches, cables and routers
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networks
  • Basic understanding of Cloud Solutions and Cloud Computing
  • Knowledge of wireless networks, setup maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Zoom Conferencing preferred
  • Inventory and salvage control/maintenance
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Google Calendar Resources.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in User Account Management.

Video Conferencing Specialist

 

An information technology professional engaged in various businesses to build and troubleshoot video conferencing system. Experience in setup and manage video conferencing system, Google Calendar Resources, and user account management desired. Ability to research and provide the client with options to new or existing products. Experience utilizing and accessing conference rooms with integrations to phones, computers and tablets desired.  These individuals focus on setup, repair, and troubleshooting of both hardware and software products that are incorporated into business operations. 

Include but not limited to setup, operate, maintain and support audio, video and network related equipment including but not limited to PCs, network devices, laptops, mobile devices, medias, wireless devices, microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards, and related electronic equipment for company events, meetings and training, presentations, and audio/video conferencing; perform documentations; follow change/configuration management procedures and guidelines; hardware inventory, decommissioning and salvaging; 

 

Job Skills

Strong computer skills and extensive hardware and software knowledge to perform installations and troubleshoot; Ability to transport, set up and fix equipment; ability to produce user friendly documentation and cheat sheets; ability to train multiple user levels. Technicians must have a good attitude, creative and flexible with strong communication skills and the ability to interact with coworkers and clients, often under deadline and pressure.
