Terros Health is hiring a Medical Assistant with experience in Primary Care to work primarily as part of a Mobile Health Unit.
Float Position: Assists with Vaccine Clinics and PC Services At Different Sites and Community Based Medicine
Full-Time Employed: 40 hours/week
Clinical and Administrative Tasks
COVID-19 Vaccine Injections and COVID Testing
Work In A Mobile Health Unit In Addition To Clinics
Mobile Health Units: RV or Health Equipped Van
Community Health Mobile Team Consists of FNP and 2 Medical Assistants
In-Office Assistance For Exams, Follow-Ups, Laboratory & Diagnostic Testing and Screening
Coordination with Pharmacies and Other Medical Providers
Completes Prior Authorizations
Experience Preferred (Primary Care)
EXCELLENT COMPENSATION ($17-$21+ / hour, depending on years of experience)
Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred (Additional Language Differential Pay Available: $1/hour)

This position provides outreach services to the most vulnerable populations, including the homeless, those with disabilities who cannot access resources or services easily, the elderly, etc. The initial primary focus of this position is to provide COVID 19 testing, COVID 19 vaccines, other vaccines, PCP services, etc. in a pandemic world.

The Medical Assistant also provides supportive services for the medical practitioners, behavioral health patients and primary care patients.

Physical Demands: Must have high manual dexterity and tactile sensation in hands and fingers to allow for completion of medical procedures.
