Must possess a "Class B" drivers license. Must provide an approved medicalform (or copy) completed by a U.S. licensed doctor of medicine (M.D.). Amedical report dated within the last two years must be provided initially
and then kept current which means renewal every two years. Must haveexperience operating buses capable of carrying 16 or more passengers; befamiliar with traffic and safety regulations, practices and procedures pertaining to motor vehicle operating (buses); and passenger safety rules. Must communicate orally; judge road/traffic conditions; read maps, interpretinstructions, related to motor vehicle operation (buses); do preventativemaintenance and ensure passenger safety. Requires reaching, turning ormoving hands, arms, feet and legs; associated duties require stooping,bending and climbing. This position is covered by Public Law 101-647,Subtitle E- Child Care Worker Employee Background Checks Must provide a copy of driving record from California DMV. This is a drug testing designatedposition. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. Mustsatisfactorily complete installation, state and national criminal backgroundchecks. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical examination.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
