Job Description

Emergency Travel Remote Team (ETRT Lvl III)

Please Note: This position could be deployed to a work project possible 100 to 150 miles from your home.

Please Read Carefully before apply: We will have temporary Jobsites requiring Officers to travel to a remote Jobsite location and/or be housed near Jobsite for a period of time. These Officer Candidates, who are willing to work at Remote Jobsites (away from the Metropolitan Areas) will receive mileage reimbursement (prorated). In addition, if you are housed near the Jobsite, you will receive daily Meal Per Diem, in addition to free Company-provided housing. Normal work shifts require stays of 4- 6 days per week, mileage reimbursement back home and/or back to job housing location. Some jobs will last 3-8 weeks and allow you to make good money and have the noted expenses paid as well.

The Security Officer position provides protection of life and property as assigned by proper authority. A Security Officer’s responsibilities includes, but not limited to: entrance (access) control, roving patrol, assuming a post and writing reports.

Candidates must meet the follow basic qualifications for this position:

  • Candidate must have VALID State of California issued by Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) guard card registration and CPR/AED First Aid
  • Minimum 2 year armed experience required.
  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Be able to work flexible schedules
  • Have a high school diploma or foreign equivalent (e.g., earned GED)
  • Have access to reliable transportation
  • Pass a State licensing test if you will be driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
  • Be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if you were in the military
  • Be able to successfully complete all training required for the position
  • Be able to operate a radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Demonstrate an ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Have one of the following:
    • Law enforcement experience
    • Service in the Elite Military Forces, Military Police or combat arms
    • Graduate of Police/Corrections Academy
    • Criminal Justice Degree, Associate or higher
    • Career Military

 

  • Pass the following, post-offer:
  • MMPI - Psychological testing
  • Physical Exams, if armed or required by client contract
