Job Description


Tesla is looking for a Global Events Coordinator to support the behind the scenes development and execution of global events and programs.

The position reports to a Global Events Producer and is based in Fremont, CA. This position supports global marketing efforts and will support multiple Events Producers. Our ideal candidate is detailed oriented, excels at working cross-functionally and is a self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.


  • Assist in planning and execution of events and programs including auto shows, lead generation activations, product launches, test drive programs and owner events
  • Build segmentation reports in salesforce and assemble digital assets such as emails and campaign-specific landing pages
  • Assist in the onsite setup of global event activities including store openings, test drives and lead generation events
  • Arrange event catering and hotel needs
  • Liaise between Marketing and Accounts Payable for vendor set up and payments needed
  • Evaluate and track the success of events and campaigns
  • Effectively deliver results of event objectives within the designated and agreed budgets
  • Supporting RMA process for Tier 3 assets
  • Managing the local checkout process of assets, including QA on return
  • Ensure compliance with global brand strategy and corporate identity for Tesla


•   Support the global events team across a variety of projects and programs

•   Coordinate logistics and operations both internally and externally

•   Assist with administrative and organizational tasks

•   Streamline back of house process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

•   Maintain the global events team calendar and ensure resources are allocated accordingly

•   Assist in the management of marketing assets on Coupa, including access, visibility, and accuracy

•   Assist with POs and invoice searches


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent years of experience
  • 1-2 years related experience with a proven track record of success 
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in building clear, compelling value propositions that can be expressed in a variety of media
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial work ethic that is required to drive business outcomes
  • Exceptional strategic thinker and analytical skills; ability to address cross-functional and cross-organizational issues independently
  • Proficient in MS Office 
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-oriented environment
