Job Description

THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION: The Electronics Technician Maintenance I applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. Duties include, but are not limited to: Complete repairs as indicated on the government supplied work orders and perform diagnostic tests to assure no further complications. The contractor shall complete all work, to include repairs and services are performed to the repair standards prescribed in the equipment's appropriate publications i.e. technical manuals (TM), lubrication orders (LO), or modification work order (MWO), and within the time standards established in maintenance allocation charts (MAC) established in TMs and by the 63rd RSC. Record all work order information entries such as repairs parts ordered and maintenance tasks, are recorded IAW Army and Army Reserve regulations, the STAMIS End Users Manual, the activity Standing Operating Procedures (SOP), directives, technical manuals, lubrication orders, or modification work order. Shall be able to perform all functions of a repair parts supply operation in support of an Army maintenance activity to include ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing supplies, taking actions to expedite receipt of parts, and researching alternative sources for items. Education: High school or GED graduate with technical school diploma in electronics equipment repair or an equivalent. Two years of experience in Electronics equipment repair or a related field.
