Aethercomm designs and manufactures RF and Microwave amplifier modules, subsystems and systems. The majority of our work is custom. The reliability and effectiveness of thousands of Aethercomm products has been tested and proven in combat, helping to protect and save the lives of our warfighters.

Aethercomm is looking to fill a Stock Room Clerk I position.

Scope: The purpose of this procedure is to establish and define the functional role, requirements, reporting relationships, authority, responsibilities and measures of performance of the Stock Room Clerk I at Aethercomm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Store material parts in an orderly and accessible manner in stock room, warehouses, or other areas.
  • Issue material parts from stock according to procedures and assure inventory accuracy.
  • Verify all inventory parts by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
  • Prepare and maintain a variety of records and databases.
  • Maintain supplies, tools, material parts, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Review incoming request forms for proper coding, quantities requested and authorized approvals to issue parts to assembly, test and engineering, as requested.
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Remove long lead material in stock and place into pre-kits as preliminary on Bills of Material and/or Pick Lists are received.
  • Complete kits as released on Bills of Material or Pick Lists and distribute to production.
  • Perform daily data entry of all inventory transactions related to Pick Lists.
  • Ensure the proper scheduling of kitting to meet production schedules.
  • Return unused material from kits of closed jobs to stock.
  • Maintain level of inventory and production requirements to procurement.  
  • Support all internal departments for all material parts.
  • Maintain close security of the company’s assets, including equipment and inventory.
  • Interact with the manager of PPIC and internal departments to resolve production related issues by providing stockroom inventory information as requested.
  • Ensure that material coordination is properly performed, and that timely information is available to the manager of PPIC and internal departments.
  • Ensure that any relevant reports are correct and provided on a timely basis.
  • Check email and voicemail daily and respond, as appropriate.
  • Ensure company compliance in accordance with AS9100.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  

Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  

Computer Skills: 

MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet software, Email and Epicor.
